As the welfare and wellbeing of a child is paramount, we strive to provide holistic support to each child’s unique requirements and interests in a nurturing, familiar environment that fosters the child’s growth across all developmental domains.

Philosophy

Our programs

We believe that children learn through play and therefore need a balance of open ended commercial and natural resources to promote interactions, spontaneity, risk-taking, exploration, discovery and a connection with nature. Our programs are completed and implemented daily. A large portion of our programming occupied by planned implications observed in individual children; however, there is also substantial opportunity for the children to participate in spontaneous independent experiences as part of play based learning.

Experiences at the centre offer children the opportunity to develop a plethora of skills in areas such as exploration, self-discovery, social interactions and problem solving, with the aim to set the child up for success. Our educational programs are reflective of emergent curriculum and adhere to guidelines set by ACECQA, National Quality Framework and The Early Years Learning Framework, taking the child’s developmental level into account.

Partnerships with industry professionals assist staff development and expansion of the curriculum to meet the individual and collective needs of all children. Needs based on cultural identity, additional support, education and medical conditions all require greater individual knowledge and supported cooperative teams to ensure all children are facilitated in an inclusive environment to the highest standard.

Blossoms first opened its doors to Sydney children in 2014 at our West Ryde centre. Since then, we have had over 200 families pass through our doors from infancy to primary school.
